Classes will look a bit different at Lambton College this fall.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the college is preparing to shift to a hybrid approach that combines online and classroom training for new and returning students.
Theory would be done online with most hands-on training taking place at the Sarnia campus, with protocols in place to ensure physical distancing, said president and CEO Judith Morris.
The details are still being worked out, but the orientation process is expected to be a virtual experience, along with online counselling and tutoring.
The plan will evolve as new information or public health concerns emerge, the college said.
