The Sarnia Legion Branch 62 recently made a significant donation to two local organizations, to help feed the at-risk and homeless populations in the community.
A $5,000 donation was made to The Hub, at Sarnia-Lambton Rebound, which provides a hot meal, five days a week, and offers programming and community resources for youth 12 to 24.
A $5,000 donation was also made to the River City Vineyard’s feeding the homeless initiative. The organization provides a hot meal, seven days a week, and ensures each person in their care receives a "grab bag" of food each day.
