The City of Sarnia has presented this year’s Accessibility Awards to eight individuals and businesses that promote an inclusive environment for people with disabilities.

The winners were:

  • Degroot’s Nurseries – Prelude to excellence (large business)
  • Ole Country Diner – Prelude to excellence (small business)
  • Caryl Baker Visage – Exceptional leadership in customer service
  • Wes Harding from Team Hoyt Canada – Creating opportunity for an accessible community
  • Sunripe Fresh Market – Exceptional accessible physical environment
  • Aaron Homes from Bailey Toyota – Going above and beyond award
  • Kathy Alexander from Bluewater Health – Outstanding customer service in a social service sector
  • Cody Daye – inspiration award for inspiring and leading a community
