Dear Editor:
Sarnia City council should continue to find housing for the 'residents' of the occupied Rainbow Park.
All shelters ARE NOT full up in Sarnia. Get those people in those shelters.
By offering trailers, campers, consolidated tiny houses, I beliee much more criminal activities will proliferate, tragic ends will ensue.
The homeless are NOT paying taxes, rent, fees of any kind – yet are generating exorbitant expenses in the encampments, further increasing our taxes, and the vicious cycle continues.
In the meantime those affected by encampment activities are suffering. STOP DRAGGING THIS ON, CLEAR OUT ENCAMPMENTS ASAP. Use the already available shelters and services ASAP.
