It is with saddened hearts that the family of Heather Lynn Lair announces her sudden passing on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Larry Lair for 19 years. Loving mother of Ashlynn, Megan (Lee), Taylor (Lindsay), and Tammy-Lee (Chet). Cherished grandmother of Annaleigh, Haylie, Alexandra, Ben, Jaidyn, Mason, and Zac. Dear sister of Stephen, Jeff (Michelle), Crystal, Victor (Holly), and Sandra (J.P.). Predeceased by her parents Bert Wesley and Ella (Gordon) Metcalfe. Heather will be missed by many step-siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and the Perry family.
Heather always had an open-door policy, she loved hosting, and everyone was always welcomed with open arms no matter the day or time. She was everyone's biggest cheerleader and was always front row cheering her children and now grandchildren on in everything they do.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
