Surrounded by love on May 8, 2025, Linda Hunter (nee Murphy) passed away, at Bluewater Health - Sarnia, at the age of 78.
Wife of Donald Nickel for 42 years. Mother of Maureen Ryan (Mike), Duane Sitzes (Bonnie) and Doreen Sitzes (Greg). Grandmother of Josh, Michelle, Zach and Heidi. Great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of John (Francine), Kathy (the late Keith) and Betty (Jerry). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Jim, Mary Jean and Molly.
Linda enjoyed many years travelling with her husband, Don. She also enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family and going out for drives in the countryside.
The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent and compassionate care Linda received from the staff on the 4th and 5th floors at Bluewater Health. The family would also like to thank Linda's friends for all their support and time spent with Linda.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at a later date. Details to follow.
