Julianne, a resident of Sarnia was born in St Thomas, Ontario on March 21, 1957 to Grant Jones and the late Patricia. Julianne was a devoted, caring and loving wife to Jack Higdon, their adventures together were filled with love and support. Julianne cherished her children Steve (Jessica), Chris (Michelle), Greg (Amy), Cheryl (Shawn) and Sheila. She adored all 11 grandchildren Baya, Harper, Irelynn, McKenzie, Taylor, Layla, Skyla, Jaxon, Reece, Ryan and Alex. Her siblings were near and dear to her heart Dan (Judy), Tim (Beth), Kathilyn and Laureen (Mike). She was a proud godmother to Rachel and Jaclyn. Will also be missed by all her extended family. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.

Julianne had an unmatched presence, always comforting, guiding, and supporting others. She touched everybody she met and had a heart of gold. She was delighted in gathering loved ones around the table for warm family dinners and delicious homemade baked goods as long as it meant everybody was together for laughter and sharing stories. She was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and always kept faith for each new season. Julianne’s favourite pastime was wholeheartedly cheering on the grandchildren. Whether it was a sports game or school performance she could be found proudly at any of their activities. Julianne had a passion for classic cars and was happy to be part of the Sarnia Street Machines with others who shared the same passion. When growing up Julianne’s most vivid memory was Walt Disney Sunday nights and her Dad’s famous fudge. She will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank the London Health Sciences team with a special thanks to Dr Jang for their care and support.
