On April 29, 2024 Bruce Ferguson lost his best friend and the love of his life to a heart attack. Kate is survived by her two daughters, Laura (Cuddy) and Jeannette (Mcneil) and pre deceased by Kate and Bruce’s son Jason eleven months ago. Kate is also survived by six wonderful grandchildren. Kate graduated from Northern High school and went on to become a Registered Nurse. Kate worked as a Nurse and a Dental assistant until she left the workforce to raise her children. Kate suffered from a progressive neuromuscular disease for the last part of her life. She loved to travel and would have been happy to live her life out in Hawaii if she could have. She loved music, and played the violin and piano. Kate will be greatly missed by her loving husband Bruce, her family, and her many friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kate’s life will happen at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
