It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeff Elliott. Beloved Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Born to Gordon and Mary Ellen Elliott. Jeff Was 63 Years old and leaves Behind a legacy of laughter, and craftsmanship.
Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Charlotte Elliott, with whom he shared 36 wonderful years together. Jeff is also survived by his mother -in-law, Theresa Kaplin, and late father-in-law Charlie Kaplin. Jeff leaves behind his cherished brother, Andy Elliott (Faye), along with his sisters and brother-in -laws, Tracey Kaplin (predeceased Seamus Kaplin),Lisa Kaplin (Sid Mitra), and a loving circle of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
As a beloved Uncle, Jeff will be missed by Shannon Eliott, Angie Elliott (Tucker),Glenn Elliott, and Easton Mitra, and many close friends, including classic car show Best friends, Mark Cooper (Tammy),Ryan Cooper, who shared a passion for automobiles and the joy of restoring Jeffs prized 1969 Firebird. Whom will always remember Jeff to them as the "Mechanic"
Jeff dedicated over decades to his career as A Master Technician at Sarnia Hyundai/Sarnia Fine Cars, before joining the family business at Marcotte Disposal. His Knack for problem-solving extended beyond Vehicles, he was a master of may trades and possessed an insatiable curiosity that drove him to tackle any challenge with ingenuity.
An avid guitar player, Jeff loved making music with his father and uncles, finding joy in simple pleasures, Jeff cherished life by the lake enjoying SeaDooing, relaxing at home with his beloved cats, Milly, Abby, Callie, ChiChi & Bailey and indulging in his favourite pastime of cooking a steak on an open fire. His resourcefulness and ability to find value in everything made him a collector at heart, always on the lookout for the best deals.
Jeff's favourite meal was Giresi's Pizza, a testament to his appreciation for the simple things in life.

A Celebration of Jeff's Life Will Be Held on Thursday, April 17,2025 at Smith Funeral Home, from 4pm to 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals, honouring his love for all living beings (cheques only at the funeral, home please).
Jeff's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
