Results from local high school curling playoffs

The Northern Collegiate girls curling team advanced at the regional finals this week. The Lady Vikings were to face off against the best high school curling from Southwestern Ontario at the Windsor Roseland Golf & Curling Club.

The Lady Vikings were to face off against the best high school curling from Southwestern Ontario at the Windsor Roseland Golf & Curling Club.

Northern lost just one game all season and became LKSSAA champions by edging undefeated St. Patrick’s High School 6–5.

That win followed a commanding 11-0 semi-finals victory over Chatham Christian high.

The Northern boys team, which went undefeated in the regular season, was eliminated by Ursuline in the semifinals.

The St. Patrick’s boys lost 6-4 in the LKSSAA finals to Ursuline College.
