Sarnia’s Donovan Woods has added another honour to his growing musical resume — Juno Award winner.
Woods won the best Contemporary Roots Album of the Year award for his latest album, Both Ways, at the annual Canadian music awards gala held in London on March 17.
The Northern Collegiate grad was also nominated in the Canadian Songwriter of the Year category. That honour went to Shawn Mendes, who won five Junos, including single, album and artist of the year
Woods, who recently returned to play at the Imperial Theatre, has now been nominated for four Junos awards over a 20-plus year career in the music industry
