The Lake Huron Coastal Centre, in collaboration with Lake Life Studio, will host the upcoming First-of-Fall Beach Clean-up event September 23 at Canatara Park in Sarnia.
The event, sponsored by Enbridge, runs from 10 a.m. to 12 noon near the bandshell.
"As the seasons change, it's important to keep our coastal areas pristine for our community, and for local wildlife,” said Alyssa Bourassa, Stewardship Project Coordinator for the The Lake Huron Coastal Centre.
“The First-of-Fall Clean-up is a unique opportunity for us all to come together and make a tangible difference to preserve our environment.”
Removing litter and debris from our shoreline can help ensure a clean and safe environment for all of us and wildlife to enjoy, Bourassa added.
