Rock concert

The band Chemical Valley will perform a free concert at Stokes Bay Grill and Bar in support of the Noelle’s Gift fund for children in need.

Trivia Night

Comedy hypnosis show

Symphony concert

The International Symphony Orchestra will present “Spring’s Promise” at Temple Baptist Church in Sarnia, 7:30 p.m. Under the direction of conductor Douglas A. Bianchi, the evening features the symphony singers, soprano Emily Douglass and a selection of music evocative of spring. Bingo for Youth Pilgrimage

Weekly Art Demonstrations

Each Wednesday until April 30 the Sarnia Artists Workshop will present an art demonstration by one of its members in the Community Room of the Superstore on London Road. Non-members are welcome to attend two sessions. Cost is $3. The Canada Revenue Agency is holding a free tax clinic at the West Lambton Community Health Centre on Exmouth Street, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is designed for people with low incomes and relatively simple tax situations. Choir Performance

Local footballer film

The documentary film Misunderstood: The Cookie Gilchrist Story will be screened at the Sarnia Library Theatre, a 7 p.m.  The film is about the life and career of football great and former Sarnia Imperial Cookie Gilchrist. Two-day Rummage Sale

Spring rummage and garage sale, Central United Church, corner of Brock and George, 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Gently-used spring and summer clothing, jewellery, dishes and other household items, collectibles, books, small appliances, toys, craft table, knitting supplies, sporting goods, plants, with 100 volunteers participating.

Two-Day Rummage Sale

Spring rummage sale featuring gently-used clothing, household items and more organized by the United Church Women at Dunlop United Church, in the gym. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. All welcome. No admission charge. Enter off Hall Street parking lot.
